The GCM
The
Governance Club Maastricht (GCM) was founded in November 2005 by politically
interested and active students of the University College Maastricht (UCM). The
Club emerged out of the UCM study association Universalis. The underlying
motivation was and is to gain theoretical and practical insights into the
dynamics of international relations and creating awareness for governmental
and world political issues within the student community and the public. GCM
understands itself as a platform for all those, who are interested in
politics, who are interested in discussing political issues and for those who
do not only accept how things are but who are also willing to create visions
and political concepts of how we rather would like to live.
